An FAC (Firearms Acquisition Certificate) used to be the federal gun license in Canada, from 1977 until the year 2000. Starting in 2001, the PAL (Possession and Acquisition License) is what gun licenses were renamed, and they remain PALs to this day.

RGSL is pleased to offer people their gun license/PAL courses and testing, and we are always happy to offer general help with the bundle of government forms that normally accompanies the entire process.

We work closely with the Chief Firearms Officer’s office for Saskatchewan (both in the past when it was under federal control, and more recently under Saskatchewan’s own provincial program), and the federal Canadian Firearms Program which is the national RCMP program administering guns across the country.
