Canadian Forces Demo

A big shout-out to Canadian Forces personnel who were out today at Cabela’s Regina while we were teaching a course!

Army personnel were there demonstrating different types of munitions used by our armed forces, and they spent the day talking to people about the various equipment they use to train.

RGSL Supports Local Sport

RGSL is proud to sponsor Wolfpack United, a Regina Soccer Association Division 5 team playing in Men’s Outdoor play this season.

We’re committed to our community, and support spending time in sport and recreation. Remember to get outside and play (no matter what your age).

Best of luck to Wolfpack United in 2014 and beyond!

New Saskatchewan Traffic Laws

keep-calm-and-obey-the-traffic-lawsA citizen’s number-one chance to run into the police it likely at a roadside stop for a Saskatchewan Highway Traffic Act infraction (such as speeding). Remember that you have different rights with respect to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms when you are in public than when you are at home/in private. Transporting guns publicly in an unsafe manner could land you serious Criminal Code charges.

On a more serious note, Saskatchewan has long had the bad reputation of having Canada’s highest DUI rates.

In response, the Government of Saskatchewan has brought in changes to our traffic laws, and 60 new officers from two brand-new Traffic Safety Enforcement police units will be out there watching over the roads. Check out the new provincial safety laws here. The government also plans to bring in speed cameras for use at highly-problematic speeding zones.

Please drive safe!
